It's a nice idea... there are way too many prosecution-happy lawyers out there. Someone who works in dentistry says that some of them basically threaten to sue in advance if the work is stuffed up. -_-

Still, I don't know why they're only aiming for $5m. By the time they've paid the kind of lawyers who can get that kind of result through, they'll be left with maybe a milkshake-and-a-sandwich worth.

I also liked Tim's little off-topic rant into the younger generations' illiteracy. :P

Even if such a thing could be arranged, I doubt anyone would post about it in a wordpress blog comment. :P

TasPC seem to advertise XP at the same price under both OEM and non-OEM categories:
Home: http://www.tasmanianpc.com.au/catalogue/details.jsp?productID=42685 ($145)
Pro: http://www.tasmanianpc.com.au/catalogue/details.jsp?productID=42686 ($235)

But knowing how well they maintain their online catalogue, you should probably call them. Of course, if you buy something like three computer components with it, you can get the OEM one.

That's cool, I thought he might be a friend of yours but thought I'd check. :) Yeah I'm trying to think of who else I could recommend; perhaps more blogs would equal more activity...

The good thing about TBA is that, unlike the forum, bots can't spam the page.

Friend from Uni; I added him as he's my friend, and I run the place :)

But in general, feel free to get others blogging, and in turn onto TBA...

Lol! What a great quote there.

Yeah, I'm sure it is a two way thing. Funnily, it's the people who get to go to Europe for school trips that have such negative opinions about there own country right here. It's not "good enough" for some people. And yet the Europeans love it here! :D

Mmm. Deadlines. I love the whooshing sound they make as they go past.

It's always interesting when you know more about a subject than the general public, and they keep getting wrong ideas. But it works two ways as well. You (and I) might know more about the N.T. than some others, but I'm sure they will know more about other places, like Germany, for example.
